What happens if the wrong account information is entered in my taxes?

Earlier it could lead to deposit of your refund in other accounts. However, nowadays refunds are issued to the bank accounts which are pre-validated with you PAN number. An error will pop up if the bank account is not pre-validated and you can rectify the issue then.
